On Wednesday, May 16th, Quirk Subaru in Bangor in collaboration with Subaru of America, donated $34,500 to the funding of the Hope House Health and Living Center in Bangor. This year represents the largest donation Quirk Subaru has donated in the history of Subaru's Share The Love program here in Bangor. In addtion to our "Share The Love" program, our employees, customers, local Bangor area citizens and Hope House PCHC staff donated many thousands of dollars worth of winter jackets, hats, gloves/mittens, sweaters, pants and more through our "Fill The Forester" program. It was the honor and privilege of Quirk Subaru staff to deliver these items directly to the residents of the Hope House.
This result could not have been accomplished without the support of our customers and we greatly appreciate their business.
When Did The Share The Love Event Occur?
From November 16, 2017 and January 2, 2018, Subaru of America and Quirk Subaru pledged to donate $300 for every new Subaru purchased or leased to PCHC’s Hope House and Living Center in support of those facing homeless, food insecurity, and mental health and substance abuse issues in the greater Bangor region.
In addition, Quirk Subaru hosted a “Fill the Forester” event, where customers and community members donated warm clothing items for guests, patients, and tenants of the Hope House.
